Do you speak English?
Yes. Our staff can guide you in English, and we have English consent forms for HydraFacial and Snow Peel. You can book through our English-friendly online booking page.
Do I need a reservation? Can I come the same day?
We are by appointment only, but same-day bookings are welcome when we have space. Live availability is shown on our online booking page, so you can see straight away whether today is possible. If you have a question before booking, email us at
tokyobeautylabo.shibuya@gmail.com.
What happens on a first visit?
You do not need to undress and you do not need to remove your makeup beforehand — cleansing is the first step of the treatment. We wrap your hair, talk through your skin and what you want from the session, and then treat you in a private room. Afterwards you can put your makeup straight back on. The times shown on the menu already include this consultation.
Is there anyone who should not have a HydraFacial?
Please tell us in advance if any of the following apply, so we can adjust the treatment or suggest something gentler: pregnancy or breastfeeding; sunburn or heavy sun exposure in the last few days; isotretinoin (Accutane) in the last six months; an active rash, cold sore, or broken skin on the face; a chemical peel, laser treatment or injectables within the last two weeks; or an allergy to aspirin or salicylates. None of these automatically rule you out. If you are unsure, email us at
tokyobeautylabo.shibuya@gmail.com before you book.
Do you accept guests with tattoos?
Yes, without exception. Tattoos are welcome here — you will not be turned away, and no one will ask you to cover them.
Can I bring my suitcase with me?
Yes. There is space for a suitcase or shopping bags in the room while you are being treated, so you are welcome to stop by on your way to or from the station. We are a small studio, so we are not able to look after luggage outside your appointment time.
What if my plans change and I cannot come?
Travel plans move around — we understand. Please email us at
tokyobeautylabo.shibuya@gmail.com as early as you can, or cancel from the online booking page, so we can offer the slot to someone else.
I am running late, or I need to change my booking. How do I reach you?
Please email us at
tokyobeautylabo.shibuya@gmail.com and we will do our best to hold your slot or move it. We read messages throughout the day. Bookings can also be cancelled or rescheduled from the online booking page.
I have blackheads and clogged pores on my nose. Which treatment should I choose?
The HydraFacial (about 40 minutes, ¥17,800). It uses gentle vacuum suction to lift blackheads and sebum out of the pores while feeding the skin a serum at the same time, so nothing is squeezed or scraped. The nose is the area our clients ask about most often, and it is where the difference tends to show most clearly — see the Before & After photographs above.
Can I put makeup on right after the treatment?
Yes. There is no downtime, so you can apply makeup immediately and continue with your day.
What is a dry head spa?
A head spa performed without water. No shampoo and no change of clothes are needed — in thirty minutes it releases tension in the scalp and neck. Easy to fit between other plans.
How long does a HydraFacial take?
About 40 minutes in total for the facial, counted from the consultation to the end of the treatment; the Scalp HydraFacial with Keravive is about 50 minutes and set menus run 50 to 70 minutes. These are guide times — the treatment itself is shorter, and the exact time varies with your skin and the add-ons you choose.
Do you accept male clients?
Yes, men are very welcome. Pore care, scalp care and the dry head spa are all popular with male clients.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, UnionPay, Discover), PayPay, d-payment, Rakuten Pay, au PAY, MerPay, QUICPay, iD, transit IC cards, WeChat Pay and Alipay+.
Are you open every day?
Yes, we are open every day of the year, 10:00–21:00. Last booking is at 19:30.
How do I get there from Shibuya Station?
About a 3-minute walk from exit B4 (Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin, Den-en-toshi, Hanzomon and Ginza lines, and the Tokyu Toyoko line), or about 5 minutes from the JR Shibuya Station Miyamasuzaka exit. We are on the 9th floor of the Miyamasuzaka Ito Building.
